NECESSARY INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS.
ln order to prepare the necessary official documents to enter into national phase a European Patent (Application) in Italy, we need complete information on filing details. The Front Page of the publication of the application -document A1 or A2- is specially suitable for this purpose.
Besides, we need: 1. Complete text of the application for grant (Druckexemplar) to obtain full protection under 65 EPC; or text of claims to obtain provisional protection under art. 67 EPC.
2. Signed power of attorney (no legalization required); the name of the signatory and his position in the company should be indicated.
3. A clear copy of the drawings in the European patent specification (even where there are no terms to be translated).
4. As soon as available, information of the date on which the European Patent Bulletin publishes the mention of the grant of the European Patent (copy of Dicision of Grant under Art.97 (2) EPC.
5. As soon as available, a copy of the Front Page of the European patent specification document B1- (preferably a copy of the entire text).
6. Information on any possible change of name of the applicant or change in ownership, as well as, a copy of the EPO notification stating that the change has been duly recorded.
